Goal

Guiding students in their personal development and their study or work choice using the basis of the Double Healix model. The online MovieLearning methodology was also tested by the students, which was not done before.

Performance

We have provided a course about the Double Healix model in two scholastic years. Both courses ran for 8 weeks. Each week contained one day presenting the theory to the students, and one day working in subgroups. The students were given homework to study the theory and assignments to put it into practice.

Impact

The courses are evaluated by the students, providing 'tips and tops', and answering more elaborate interview questions. The larger part of the student body says the courses influenced their development, increasing their knowledge about themselves and of the world at large. Especially the development of knowledge about their own personality was mentioned often, which is a positive result because the students were able to better decide what kind of follow-up study or job would fit them.
